Our journey began from Kochi, filled with excitement, curiosity, and the anticipation of experiencing something new. We were a group of five doctors travelling to Malaysia primarily for a rehabilitation visit, but the journey turned out to be much more than a professional trip. It became a beautiful combination of new knowledge, new discoveries, new culture, wonderful people, and unforgettable memories.

We landed safely in Malaysia, and our driver was there waiting for us exactly at the scheduled time. Throughout the trip, the transportation and arrangements were smooth and well coordinated. The highlight of our journey was undoubtedly our rehabilitation visits, especially our visit to the PERKESO Rehabilitation Centre. Every moment spent there was truly worthwhile. As rehabilitation professionals, getting an opportunity to observe their facilities, treatment approaches, organisation, workflow, and recent advancements was an incredibly enriching experience.

The well-organised pattern of rehabilitation, the systematic approach to patient care, the use of advanced rehabilitation concepts, and the overall coordination of services left a deep impression on me. I came back with so many new ideas, observations, and learning experiences that I know will continue to influence my professional journey.

Even now, when I close my eyes and think about those days, the experiences still feel incredibly fresh—as though I am seeing everything right in front of me again. That is the beauty of a meaningful journey: you may return home, but a part of the experience remains with you.

And of course, the trip was not only about rehabilitation. We also got the opportunity to experience Malaysia's beautiful culture, surroundings, food, lifestyle, and hospitality. Experiencing another country together as a group made the journey even more special. The combination of professional learning and cultural exploration made this trip truly unique.

I am genuinely happy and grateful to have been a part of this wonderful journey. It gave me memories to cherish, knowledge to carry forward, and experiences that will remain close to my heart.

Our recent family trip to Thailand was an absolute blast, all thanks to the amazing team at Coco Routes and our rockstar representative, Arun!
