Sri Lanka Visa / ETA for Indian Travellers – Updated for 2026

For an Indian traveller visiting Sri Lanka for tourism, India is currently among the 40 countries eligible for a tourist ETA free of charge for up to 30 days, effective 25 May 2026. However, travellers still need to obtain the required ETA before arrival. The current official Sri Lankan system states that the tourist ETA provides a 30-day short-visit facility with double entry.
